How gift vouchers work
Values
Seven values, from NZ$50 to NZ$400. Choose the amount and how many, and pay on NowBookIt's secure checkout.
Delivery
Vouchers arrive by email. They can take up to 24 hours to become valid, so allow a day if it is a gift for tomorrow.
Using one
Bring it in and we'll take it off the bill. Vouchers are spent at The Athens Yacht Club and can't be exchanged for cash.
Terms & conditions.
A gift voucher is credit to spend with us at The Athens Yacht Club. Choose an amount, buy it online, and we email it to whoever you are giving it to. Vouchers can take up to 24 hours to become valid, so one bought tonight may not work tonight.
A voucher is valid for three years from the day it is bought. Three years is the minimum the law allows for a gift card in New Zealand.
Vouchers are spent with us and cannot be exchanged for cash, resold, or used anywhere else.
Treat a voucher like cash. If it is lost, deleted, or ends up with the wrong person, we cannot replace it, so keep the email somewhere safe.
To use a voucher, bring it in and tell us before we make up the bill, and we will take the amount off. Vouchers are spent here at 179 Victoria Street in Christchurch. You do not need a booking, but we would recommend one so we can be sure of a table.
Vouchers are sold for us by NowBookIt, so the payment happens on their checkout rather than on this website. The terms you agree to there cover buying the voucher, and they are shown before you pay. NowBookIt can only take payment from cards in New Zealand, Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. The terms on this page cover the voucher itself.
If anything here is unclear, or something has gone wrong with a voucher, email office@athensyachtclub.co.nz or call 03 365 0435 and we will do our best to sort it out.
